There as been a buzz on several of the blogs I follow recently. It concerns Mariska Meijers who has opened a beautiful shop in Amsterdam. With no formal training Mariska launched her fine art career in 2005 with a solo exhibition in Singapore.
Mariska followers her instinct rather than art theory, giving her work a brightly patterned quality. In addition to her fine art pieces she has a stationary range and in 2009 she launched her screen printed cushion range.
